Loppet Commmunity Events

Upcoming Community Events

The Spirit of the Loppet breakfast honors the people who are living out our mission through volunteerism and advocacy. This year we are proud to feature speaker Jordan Brings Three White Horses Whetstone, a fourth generation Lakota runner, athlete advocate, filmmaker and community organizer.

This event is free to attend but is a fundraiser for the Loppet Foundation and an RSVP is required. A delicious breakfast from Mill Valley Market will be provided.

Event Details:

Thursday, June 1
7am – 9am
The Trailhead, 1221 Theodore Wirth Parkway

Join us on Sunday, June 4th, at the first in a series of our public volunteer restoration events.

Help NatureWerks and The Loppet remove an invasive species! We’ll meet in front of the Trailhead in Theodore Wirth Park, briefly talk about garlic mustard removal and why it’s important, before we head out to our worksite. Once we’re done we’ll walk over to Utepils Brewing, where there will be food and drinks ready for volunteers.

Please dress according to the weather, and wear long pants and socks with close-toed shoes. If you need, please be sure to bring a water bottle. Garlic mustard is not particularly hard to remove, and will not require any tools. We will be providing gloves and bags for volunteers.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us at Volunteer@loppet.org
